Just a quick update for anyone still receiving e-mails from the blog.
I'm currently living in Memphis pursuing my graduate studies. I'm loving it! The city is great and so is the food, but the BEST thing is the resources. I recently met with a local engineer about my "Bridge to Campeche" project. He gave me some pointers on how to present the project to organizations and offered to help me look over the proposal once it's finished. The plan is to complete the proposal at the beginning of winter break so I can send it out while I'm home sitting around on my keister for 4 weeks. I currently plan to focus on Bridges to Prosperity as a potential builder. Should the project be adopted by them, I will begin to embark upon the long road of fundraising...but that's for the future. I just wanted you all to know I didn't give up. Things are just moving slower than is ideal. Pray that I find the right resources to make this happen for the people!
